Corner of the Past Museum
& Old Anderson House
The Old Anderson House (pictured) is the cornerstone of the Corner of the Past Museum grounds, located at Highway 57 and Fieldcrest Rd. The grounds are home to 15 restored buildings from the Sister Bay area, representing farming, tourism, orchards, and other businesses of early Sister Bay.
Little Sister Barn Transformation
The Little Sister Barn, built in 1919 by local fisherman and farmer Grant Anderson, was moved to the Corner of the Past a few years ago, thanks to a grassroots campaign to preserve this historic structure. It is now in the process of being transformed into a Center for History, Education and Community. Find out how you can support this amazing restoration project!
Waterfront Museum

The early development of Sister Bay centered around the waterfront, and a new Waterfront Museum will help showcase our important maritime history. Our plan is to restore the Bunda Boathouse, turning it into a Waterfront Museum that will become the home to artifacts like the Shadow (pictured), a pristine 1929 Chris Craft runabout that has a storied history in Sister Bay. Christkindlmarkt

The Society is the proud creator and host of Christkindlmarkt Door County, a popular Christmas market that showcases vendors with handcrafted, Northern Door goods, and food booths offering northern European dishes. The sixth annual edition of the popular market is scheduled for Nov. 27-29, Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13 in 2026.
