June 8 - 9 Sister Bay Centennial Celebration
June 9 Corner of the Past opens for the 16th season
Tour an 1875 farmhouse and restored farm buildings with century-old furnishings, tools and farm implements. Open weekends through the end of September. Farmers’ Market and Heritage Demonstrations most Saturdays. Group tours available on weekdays by appointment. Also available is a self-guided tour directory with brief histories of each of the 15 structures on the museum grounds which are open during daylight hours throughout the summer. Sponsored by the Sister Bay Historical Society. Admission donation: $1
June 23 The Saturday Farmers’ market opens June 23 at the Corner of the Past at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. Vendors arrive between 7 and 8 a.m. Fresh locally-grown vegetables and flowers and prepared foods from certified kitchens are available in this colorful farmyard setting. Availability changes with the season.
June 27 Annual Meeting/Pot Luck Dinner
6:00 p.m. gathering in the barn
6:30 p.m. pot luck dinner
7:30 p.m. business meeting and elections
July 5 10th Annual Garden Walk
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (rain or shine)
Participating gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. As parking is limited at some sites, car pooling is suggested. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended.
Tickets, including a site map, are available at the Visitor Information Centers in Sister Bay and Ephraim, the Sister Bay office of Baylake Bank, Jerry’s Flowers in Sister Bay, Sunnypoint Gardens on Hwy. 42 south of Egg Harbor, and at Saturday morning Farmers’ Markets at the Corner of the Past Farm Museum. Proceeds support Historical Society operations. Tickets: $10 per person
July 24 Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social
6 – 8 p.m.
Join in the fun and enjoy do-it-yourself sundaes and a variety of home-baked cakes in the unique setting of the Koessl Barn and surrounding farm yard.
August 11 - 12 15th Annual Quilt Show
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
In addition to the viewing the quilts, visitors on Saturday morning can browse the Farmers’ Market for locally produced foods.
September 1 SBHS Ice Cream Booth at the Sister Bay Marina Fest.
September 13 Last Saturday for the Farmers’ Market at the Corner of the Past
December 7 Annual Holiday Gathering of the Sister Bay Historical Society
7 to 9 p.m.
Enjoy special treats and join in singing favorite carols at the Old Anderson House Museum. Christmas carols sung around the vintage pump organ will highlight evening. Punch, Christmas cookies and other snacks will be served. Please bring a non-perishable food item, cleaning supplies or paper products for the Northern Door food pantry at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay.

July and August: Fridays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Heritage Programs are held during the Saturday Farmer’s Markets on the grounds of the Corner of the Past, at the Old Anderson House Museum, or in the Koessl Barn.  In case of rain, all programs will be in the Koessl Barn.  There is no admission charge for these programs.  We thank all of the artisans for the generous donation of their time.
